Some places left in Wonuwali/Afroahjo´s workshop in Guinea 15.12.2011-8.1.2012! We have been organising dance and percussion workshops in Guinea since 1996. Group size is small, dance and drumming classes 5-6 hrs /day and teachers really excellent, f.ex. soloists from the National ballets and musicians that know and teach ”Conakry style” and susu rhythms from the coastal region as well as traditional malinke rhythms from upper Guinea. We try to give the students a real cultural experience and to deepen the knowledge of dance and music by visiting and participating traditional festivities and having different kinds of performances even at our front yard, sometimes from the villages far away, sometimes the most famous artists in Guinea! The level is intermediate/advanced, but we can also have a beginners drum group if necessary. Our base is in Bentouraya village, some 25 km. from the airport and 45 km from Conakry.
