| VUTHU - Mozambican Traditional dance and Afro Swing The Dance and Music Company Hodi Maputo Afro Swing from Mozambique is on tour in Sweden and presents: VUTHU - Mozambican Traditional dance and Afro Swing 5 August 2018 at 16:30 - Kulturfyren, Slupskjulsvägen 26A, Skeppsholmen, Stockholm A show with some of the best dancers from Southern Africa, presenting their traditional culture and Afro Swing; their research of the African Roots of Swing and Lindy Hop. Special Guests: Celso Paco and Kuvumbana Program: 16.30h Doors open 17.30h Show starts 19h-22h Mozambican food, mingle and live music with Celso Paco and Gêmeos Manhiça Hodi Maputo Afro Swing aims to preserve and disseminate Mozambican traditional culture and explore the connection Afro Swing. They work as professional dancers and with young people in their community to spread a healthy life style, human connection and education. The company was founded in 2012 and has since then represented Mozambique across the globe in countries such as Brazil, United States, Macau, South Africa, Germany and Sweden.
